anyone fancy a Mini league Dream Team on the Sun? for the new season

we had a league on the actual premier league website last year. was pretty good.

If anyone is interested in the Texaco fantasy league for the football league let me know, and I'll send you the private league pin.

Can't wait for tomorrow, first pre-season friendly for the Rams! Burton Albion away!

Lol good luck, its kinda suprising how much the fitness drops during summer, noticed it when watching afc vs malaysia 11 lol

Nottingham forest fan here lol

Not as much of a fan as I used to be due to working all the time and not managing to get to any games at all last season :-(
with mclaren as manager I know we wont get in the top half of the championship this season due to not making a single signing again we need to get rid of our chairman he is useless lol

IMHO I think Leicester will go up next season and Man U or Man city will win the prem but only if city's players can work together next season will be interesting watching Chelsea with their new manager and deffo watching Sunderland after there spending spree in the transfer window lol

Leicester must go up, if they don't they're in a bad financial situation, they've spent £10M this season which is a record in the Championship.

If Forest's chairman leaves he's going to want his £40M+ 'loan' back.

I think Liverpool have a good chance of winning the league this year, if they'd of had Dalglish from the start of the season they would have won it without a doubt.

I think he needed time, money and players, which is what hes got now. Im scared actually, with Liverpools squad looking better and better, man City strong, Man Utd will just be there cos they are Man U and Chelsea with a new manager and confidence, looks like its gonna be ] a long season to me.

Guys, I have set up a Mini League on The Suns' Dream Team. Just PM me your email addy and Ill send you the link. Its FREE so come on! Need at least 10 people for a good league B-)

Only reason UTD won it with a squad weakest on paper out of the top 4, even 6 was cos of one man, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Correct.

Wooo, we won 3-1 away at Burton, and check this for a set piece, one of the best I have ever seen!

Not sure if you're being serious here? They have signed players from Blackpool, Newcastle and Sunderland......Carroll and Adams are drinking problems waiting to happen. 20 millionish for Henderson....Nasri can be bought for 20 million and so can Henderson, I think i'll buy Henderson...Well done Kenny.

i think liverpool will finish above spurs and arsenal. i dont think they will catch man u chelsea and man city this year. but if they spend next year like they already have done this year, i think they will be a title contender again.

man utd
chelsea
man city
liverpool
arsenal
spurs.

i think my beloved newcastle will push on another couple of places and finish top ten next year, we've made some good signings, and are still in the hunt for a striker to replace carrol. although theres now ay we will see any more than 10 million spent on one, Mike Ashley is a bullsh***er. i can appreciate hes reducing thw wage bill, clearing deadwood and bringing the sqauds average age down, but hes spinning the line that agents fee are consuming the 35 million.

with the 35 mill we got for carrol, 4 for nolan and 2 for routledge, thats 41 million. we spent i think 4.5 mill on cabaye, everybody else has been 'free'. im pretty sure 36 million hasnt been consumed in wage and agents fees, considering we've offloaded 3 people off the wagebill. and i bet nolan was earning more than any of the players we have signed. its a con. 10 million is the LEAST a toon fan should be expecting ashley to spend on a forward.

i do have faith in pardew though, and he seems to be getting his way with who the club approach, rather than being told who to buy. getting Ben Arfa back will arguably be more important than any of our new signings. he looked phenomenal before dirty man city ruined his season.

Wouldn't pin your hopes on Ben, got stretchered off yesterday against Kansas City...I await the the Geordies blaming DeJong for being in the same country.

I hope he's OK as he is a good player.
