QPR i think will stay up, unless they comepletely collapse. i watched them against newcastle last week, bearing in mind they had 5 people making their debuts, and they were brilliant. newcastle were lucky to not be 4-0 down at half time, and we were lucky to get out of there with a point. compared the the insipid norwich performance i watched against west brom, QPR are on another level. but nice to see norwich win at bolton, a very godo result. any points away from home are bonus points for norwich.

relgation is bewteen norwich, swansea, wolves, wigan and blackburn if you ask me. possibly west brom, though i think odemwingie will be enough to keep them up. and wolves usually scrape it, but you can never be sure. saying that, ive not seen many worst performance than arsenals at blackburn. that was woeful. they're going to finish 6th.

That high? I think they should consider themselves lucky if they finish in the top half.

you might be right, im just assuming they will finish in europe, and if they do it will be only just. really im struggling to think of somebody else who could take that 6th spot, as oppose to thinking arsenal are good enough to get it. i'd love to see newcastle carry on their unbeaten form and get it, but in reality it wont happen. if we get to january within site of 6th place, and fat mike ashley pulls his finger out and buys us a forward who is actually dangerous, we might have a slim chance. we've been pretty solid so far, though not really played any big teams apart from arsenal at the start of the season.

weve got a bad run in novemeber, man city away, then man utd away, then chelsea at home. 1 point from those 3 games would be decent. but id rather get the harder away games done and dusted before xmas, we dont want to be playing those games at the business end of the season when relegation/europe could depend on it. reading that back, not many teams can be considered relegation and europe candidates, but this is the topsy turvy world of Newcastle United. couple of decent players brought in january could really see us push on. getting Ben Arfa back is going to be like a new signing, and hes quality. Santon i expect will be a very capable replacement for enrique, and Dan Gosling has been lighting up reserve games on his way back to fitness.

No, I think you Barcodes will stay there or thereabouts, I hate to say it, but I think Spuds will be there too, Villa, Blunderland, and I really think Stoke will surprise a lot of people.

I reckon all of them will finish ahead of Arsenal.

i refuse to accept stoke as a decent team. they will do well, but i just cant stand them. if ever a signing typified a teams style of play, it was stoke signing the Beanpole to launch the ball at. spurs will finish 4th i think, i did think liverpool would, but they looked so out of sorts im not convinced now. im predicting man utd, man city (purely because they have aguero), chelsea, spurs, liverpool, then 1 of 5 or 6 teams in 6th place. without aguero, who is nothing short of 'the tits', id put chelsea above man city. ive been very impressed with sturridge this season so far, and if torres carries on improving, who knows where chelsea will finish. at this rate he might get 5 goals by the end of the year.

villa aren't potent enough, even with bent who is quality. and while mcleish is there hes not exactly getting fans on his side, which will be affecting the team. unless agbonlahor gets back to his form from 2 or 3 years ago (which i never really rated anyway), they will be midtable non entities, much like everton have been the last 7 years or so.

Personally I think stoke are a pretty good team, absolutely bullet proof at home and Pulis if a great manager.

For me the relegation 3 are Blackburn, Norwich and Swansea.

QPR will stay up, they've bought very wisely and as much as I hate Joey Barton, he is a born leader for that team, inspirational.

see i think Pulis is marmite. you think hes great, i think hes an #14### and his team play crap football that belies the idea the premier league is the best in the world. i appreciate what a mega job hes done in cementing stoke as a premier league permenant fixture, and i know that that very rarely happens by playing beautiful football from day one of your first premier league season. thats just not how it works. but it gets him results and obviously works.

i just wish i didnt have to see it on motd. i play sunday league to see crap footy thankyou very much

Looks like tevez is going after tonights fiasco!

How dare he seriously, he's such an #15###, he's on £200,000 a week and refuses to do his job, I hope they terminate his contract.

Derby mustered a draw, we deserved more but I'm happy with 2nd, though we'll probably be 3rd tomorrow night.

Derby didnt do very well on saturday though mate, playing like that you wont be in the top half for long let alone top 3

by the way im a Leicester city fan....... :yahoo: :- :hooray:

#33### it was an awful performance, £1.5M vs £15M, if we can play like we did against Barnsley I'd say we're sorted against most teams though, Middlesbrough and Southampton will be tough tests, I just hope we can bounce back like we did last time.

E I E I E I O,
Up the football league we go,
When we win promotion,
This is what we'll sing,
We are the champions,
We are the champions,
Grayson is our king!

toon for champions league :hey: :hey: :hey:

weve got the tightest defence across all 92 league clubs. that is genuinely not something i expected to ever hear about newcastle.

great result for newcastle today. before the game i was happy with a point, we got one so i cant complain. though we should have nicked it at the end a draws fair. Norwich still doing the business against the teams that matter, Paul Lambert is some sort of genius, hes going to be very hot property at the end of the year i think. Norwich need to stay up to have a chance of keeping him i think.
