Foamex Board

Hi all, I'm getting into bettas and will be buying some tanks soon and will be dividing them. I have access to some display boards at work made from foamex. I believe they are made from PVC with a small cell structure and non toxic. I will drill them for good water flow and heat transfer, so I wondered if any body had used this type of board in thier tanks.

i would just play it afe and get a divider from the pet store. better safe than sorry

I should think it would be fine. PVC plastics are often used with fish. Just make sure your holes are small enough that the fish wont try to push through it and get stuck because they are silly like that.
