Foam?

Anything besides some type of contamination that would cause this??

This started a couple of days ago. The airstone is causing this. It has no odor, and the minute you touch it it disappears.

I don't think it is soap or residue of some sort because I don't use anything around my tank.
However, with 4 and 3 year old boys running around I can't rule out contamination.

Water stats are normal. Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5-10

Forgot to mention the water is clean and crystal clear.

It is probably an overdose of dechlorinator. Do a water change and it should go down. The same thing happened to me at the beginning of my tank.

Maybe...did just do a w/c Sunday

Stress coat will foam up like that, actually any of the ones that thicken the fishes slime coat will.
