Flying Fox

I got a flying fox to help me with my hair algea. He was doing a great job cleaning everything well but then he found the cave in my rock and never comes out anymore. What is the cause?

Flying Foxes eat algae, but it would be unusual for them to eat hair/beard/red/black algae, (choose whichever name fits). The Siamese Algae Eater, not the same fish, does eat these, they are, however, a schooling fish which should be kept in groups of 3 or more.

If you have a true Flying Fox and it has stopped eating troublesome algae, well, no suprise there.

If you have a true SAE, get him some friends.
