Flying barb!!!!?!

im sorry i just had to post this twice.
im just still in disbelief.

my poor barb population has been slowly dwindling for some reason, and this morning i noticed my biggest favourite one was missing. i looked all over the aquarium and could not find him! so i gave up and started to get dressed, when i l ifted up a shirt off of my floor and saw a little dried up barb!!! now my tank is about 4 feet up on a dresser, and this guy was easily 3 feet away from the base of the dresser!

oh man oh man i just screamed and was so surprised.
the poor guy commited a flying leap of fishicide!!!

im still in shock...wow.

now i only have 4 barbs and instead of buying 2 more to have a peaceful shoal i think im going to try giving them back to my LFS because i just cant handle these crazy guys. theyre hilarious and i like them but ive just had way too many mysterious problems.

Many fish jump. A good hood is always a wise investment. I well remember hearing a thump one night. I went downstairs to investigate, turning on the light, I saw a 6"/150mm Barbus binotatus flopping about on the living room floor about 3m from his tank. The hole he had got through seemed impossibly small. I was in time, and he survived.
