I have 3 fluval flex tanks the 34L , 57L , 123L

34L fry tank currently.
57L Guppy and Juvenile Mollies.
123L Tetras, Rams, Corys, couple of adult Mollies.

I feel the output flow on the 34L is maybe to high and the filtration slats a little to big for young fry although it does give them an area to hide at the risk of being pulled into the filter media.

The 57L is great does exactly what I want.

The 127 I feel just doesn't turn the water over well enough and the water pump is very noisy compared to the other two.

Any flex owners out there that have any advice on how to remedy the issues I have with the 34L and 123L ?

My aim is to rehome the livebearer fish and stick to Tetras, Corydoras , Rams

That sounds like a cool set of tanks. I have to admit I've been looking at the 57 as a contender for one of my next tanks. About level pegging with one of the new Waterbox tanks that has the same system just not the curved front.

In the 34L could you attach a mesh net infront of the inlet panel? Maybe with cable ties? I've seen people grow moss walls on Fluval Flex backs which looks cool - it naturally reduces the gaps but you need to keep on top of trimming it to make sure it does not totally block it.

For the pump on the 127 how is it attached? I know on some other tanks like Juwels the pump is just a powerhead that is quite interchangeable with other brands? If its the same here it might just be a case of swaping the powerhead for a brand with a reputation for build quality like Ehiem or Oase?

Yeah a pump screwed onto the dual outlet on the flex tanks had a look at a few videos and the Ehiem one might do the trick.

Thank you for you're reply.
