Fluval Chi Journal

I think I'm just going to have them resend the Weeping Moss

Update:

Did a water change, added the background to hide those nasty cables.
Plants are well, some crypts melted as to be expected, but I've added more gravel to cover their roots since the gravel bed was a little shallow. Java fern has attached itself to the rocks, and I made sure their roots were exposed. I added two Flourish Tabs into the gravel bed to give the plants something to do.

Moss was shipped on the 16th, will be here any day (I am told). I need to trim the bottom of the driftwood so the top doesn't poke out of the water.

I'm very certain I have 1 male and 2 female cherry shrimp in there. Hopefully we get some babies soon!

I've also discovered the tank has some uninvited guests......copeopods or something...they're those litte white crab things. They pose no harm, but they're bothersome to look at :grr:

nice tank. also why dont you try and catch the copeopods, they are small white crustaceans that can be a beneficail food to other fish

Too small and far to many to catch.

They're like tiny, white rolypolies.

The moss came today!!!! I attached it to the wood right away, but it was a tad too big, so I had to chop a bit off.
The shrimp seem very happy with their new tree!
The water is dark due to the tannins from the almond leaves

I haven't yet ordered the blue pearls yet, as they are currently out of stock.

Sorry I can't help you with the other site!

All three shrimp, sitting together eating some shrimp food. You can see I have two females and one male. Aren't they adorable? One of the females just molted, explaining her unusual orange color
