Hi, I have just sprung a leak on my filter. How long will my tank be OK for? I will try to get to a LFS in the morning and get a new part/filter!

You're fish should be okay, but monitor your parameters and water change as neccessary. I would be more worried about the bacteria in the filter and oxygenating that water though. YOu should try to get a new filter asap.

Thanks for the advice

where's the filter leaking from

It's leaking from around one of the clips holding the pump unit on. I have lubricated the O ring, which is only a year old and in perfect condition too. I'm a bit stumped as to why it is leaking to be honest! It was working fine all day, then I took it apart to clean it out and when I reconnected it, it leaked!

Check the groove in which the seal is located, you might have a foreign body there.
