Tested approx 2.5hrs after water change & vac
Temp 29.2c

Ph - LR PH on 7.6. HR PH ?

Ammonia 0ppm

Nitite 0ppm

Nitrate 40ppm - tap water nitrates are between 0 to 5ppm when tested at the start of cycling. Must be due to remaining 1% or so water and gravel which has had a thorough vac.

Added 12.5ml ammonia for 4ppm.

Dont worry about the nitrates too much. You lfs water will have double that reading.

I spent over a week trying to get my Nitrate down but was worrying about nothing in the end.

Ammonia - 0ppm

Nitrite - 0.25ppm
Tested again at 12.5hrs and almost 0ppm (more blue but just hint of purple)
Tested again at 13hrs and clearly 0ppm
