Fish To Go In A 20 Gallon Tropical Tank?

Can someone tell me what fish can go in a tropical 20 gallon tank? I would like some bettas? (Male and female?) Male for sure!

1 male Betta 12 neons 5 male endlers, 5 platies, and 6 Pygmy cories will be a good fit for that tank

I would like an angel fish Can I get some with a male betta? Petland said i could.

generally their not compatible and a 20g isnt big enough for an angel im afraid.

I'm going to make this quick. No they cannot be with a betta, and angles would grow far to big for a 20 gallon

Well, only inder the right conditiings they can be kept together, we try NOT to advise anyone to do this, it is possible but it is like a 1 in a million chance that it will go well, you would need a really heavily plated tank like to where you can barely see anything in the tank

i have kept bettas with allsorts due to my ignorance at the time, and i would say that its a balancing act that 99% fails. One definite thing after reading that list on the other page is never put a red betta in with tetra if you feed bloodworm. i dont recommend many fish except khuli loach with lots of ground cover, the loaches are quite clever at reacting to a betta. personally i would put tetras as a no and stick to bottom dwellers. what you can do is half the tank with a divider and get two males. i have a father and daughter betta in the same tank and they get along fine as she is very nifty and does not get stressed, but she is talented compared to other females and old dad is slow.
