Peacock gudgeons/gobies - the two I had were creepy they would swim to the front when I approached and just watch me with their odd reflective eyes and one stalked some of the other fish and nipped (beautiful colour though).

Otis - had six and in 2 days the tank was algae free but the substrate was covered in their mess!?!

Why does everyone hate guppies?

They survive perfectly if you pick the right ones, I have found that red guppies are stronger than blue ones, double sword and lyretail guppies also seem to be stronger. Platies are fine never had any problems same with swordtails, but mollies...

I found it quite strange that someone doesn't like corydoras. Plecs are lovely; golden nuggets, zebra pleco, L 213's. Surely they arn't poo machines?

to be honest I have never kept a fish which I hate, apart from fiji sea devil damsels (marine) LFS told me they were blue damsels they attack everything small and new in new to the tank, want to get rid of them but can't catch them in a 270L tank with all the liverock, changing the tank soon though.
