Fish Tank Stand

just bought a Juwel Rekord 600, and not sure what to put it on, i plan keeping it in my bedroom and have a quite sturdy computer desk(very similar to picture shown) would it be ok when filled up to sit on this? as Juwel stand you can buy for it doesnt look very secure

i personally wouldnt take the risk that dont look strong enough how many litres does your tank hold?

The cheaper juwel stands are cheap and tacky. Providing you use the top where the monitor would go and not the slide out keyboard shelf you will be fine.

planning using top shelf, after new year will get a stand/cabinet built from wood

Go for it then. 63litres won't be too heavy anyway. I had an old 19" monitor that probably weighed more. Lol.

Yeah 63 liters maybe ok on there just keep on eye on it if it starts to bend too much or crack etc

will only be on it 2 weeks tops then get a stand purpose built something sturdy

Should be okay mate, i've had alot of gear on stands like that; studio speakers, dual screens ect.
You could put a leg in the middle underneath to make it a little better, if you was that worried.
