Fish Tank Smells

Even though I am cleaning out the tank every 3 days the tank still stinks, any ideas???

Can you describe the smell? Is it eye-watering ammonia , stangnant pond, acid, stale, sulphorous (aka fart), sickly-sweet?
You can get all types of smells from an aqaurium...

Also would be a great help to know any water stats, tank size/type, filtration, what fish (if any), how old is the tank...?

Do you have a filter? Or any decaying matter? If its too small, then it will get dirty quicker, so you might want to buy a few snails.
