Fish Suddenly Very Scared

Hi all, I'm having a problem with my fish in the fact that all of a sudden they have started being really scared everytime I come to the tank!
The tank had a knock a couple of days ago but I don't understand why they are still so terified and keep swimming erratically away from me or anyone les who comes to the tank.
This is very out of character for them as they are usually very sociable and love to see...I miss them and wondering will they come round and could there be any other causes? Thanks for reading, Danii

Give them a bit of time. It could well be that the knock on the tank gave them the willies, so as time goes by, they will feel more confident again. You could even try feeding a little more regular, but smaller amounts.. that way they will realise you're actually the nice guy, sooner. Hopefully

Thanks so much for the advice. Not many people are bothering to answer so I really appreciate it. They use to always be happy to see me and now they can't get away quick enough. Pretty gutted.

They are probably just remembering the knock and are being cautious. I had one fish that always came out and now I never see him, hes behind some bogwood.
Most of mine always come to the front when I get home as they know I feed them! I love it
Just give them some time to feel at home again! Give them some frozen food as a treat, they will love you then

Yeah hopefully they will return to their usual bubbly selves. Your tank looks awesome btw What kind of frozen food? I usually just feed them dried as I don't have a freezer.

Thanks its actually my old tank, need to update it but not got a good enough picture yet haha!
I use frozen brine shrimp, daphnia, ummm a tropical mix one, can get it from my lfs. You can also get them some live food but little bit more expensive and not as much for your money! Just nice as a treat for them

My Pygmys have done this. I had a total change around a few weeks ago and I wasn't seeing them atall. They've started coming out a little more now but still not quite back to how they were.
