Whats the worst thing you've ever seen at your fish store? Mine was a cichlid and guppy tank. There were 8 dead guppies stuck to the filter intake and the 2 dead jack dempseys at the bottom of the tank. Both of which were decomposing. I asked the store manager about it and she said she would take a look at it. 2 Days later I'm back to pick up some dog toys and theres another dead dempsey and the guppies are still there.

At Walmart:

I counted 15 dead rosy’s stuck in the intake, along with a baby Oscar. (In the same tank)

The remaining rosys in the tank, were riddled with ich, bent spines, fin rot, and fungus. Probably the worst looking fish I have ever seen.

Thankfully, Walmart has got rid of most of their fish sales.

At my sisters friends friends house:

Saw a 20g high: 3 long “fancy” tailed goldfish, 1 Chinese algae eater, 1 black fin Tetra, one Corydora, and 1 pleco. (Common)

They didn’t even have a filter, heater, or sand! That made me so mad, never wanted to go back there again.

Clownfish in freshwater, african cichlids in salt water, pleco skeletons (6-7 inches)... lots of bad shops out there :)

Just remember not to name names in a thread like this please guys :)
Can I name like Walmart? Or are you speaking of specific human names?

My LFS had a tank with two very big chilids. One was jammed behind the filter. The other swimming very weirdly. Betta in tanks with loads of other fish. One I found very upsetting was big chain shop with a dead Pleco. The other pleco kept kinda attacking it so it pushing the dead one all over the tank, flipping it up and around. Was really awful.

The one swimming looks ok in the video but he was bumping into glass and going sideways too.

The one things that always makes me cringe is the LFS (not the chains P@H, Maidenhead ect) which is just willingly selling fish with Ich or other visible diseases. I have walked in and straight back out a couple of places which have done it. I mean even P@H and maidenhead put up little signs saying fish under treatment not for sale.

Never seen so many Guaramis in a tank before at my local p at h! Worse than a football stadium
