Non-technical question: what are "bacon butties"? They must be good because they involve both bacon and butts. Bringing these two things together must lead to some form of joyous hysteria

it's a great game you can play with builders, you know when they're bent over working there's always a fair amount of butt cleavage going on and you score points for how much bacon you can get into said cleavage before they notice











or maybe that's just me and Ian, I think buttie is also a word for sandwich

Yeah the skimmer is doing it's job alright I can assure you all I have now emptied it.

Tomorrow I am getting a small amount of LR. I picked it today and it is fully cured. I always buy my LR from the same shop as I know them real well and it's always brilliant quality and really well cured.

Unfortunately the lights I have are going back to work on Saturday so I will get a makeshift lighting arrangement tomorrow aswell. I have ordered a sweet new lighting fixture which I will be getting as soon as my bank manager allows me to

And finally for today....I have so far had one casualty of the move.

Also Spikeybob my urchin is not looking too well and Pepper my peppermint shrimp is MIA but that is not unusual. I spent 3hrs acclimating them yesterday but obviously it wasn't enough.

The Queen Angel has a new home as of tomorrow. She is going to Blue Planet Aquarium.

It has a HUGE reef tank (with fake corals) which she could go in or they may put her in the massive shark tank. I think the shark tank is most likely as the reef tank is already pretty fully stocked.

Here's hoping they let me have a year pass as compensation I doubt it but hey it's worth an ask

Good news - family pass at least!

I'll keep an eye out then - take the kids there (well they get dragged round by me!) a couple of times a year.

The malawi tank is a bit special there too innit?
