Fish problem?

Please tell me if my betta has hole in the head disease...?? He's had this for a couple weeks and I been treating for red spot, rwgular water changes ect but I've noticed now looks like hole in head.

I was going to say hole in the head disease is almost always confined to cichlids that are kept in dirty tanks with dirty filters that don't get enough water changes. But your Betta might change that.

How long have you had the fish for?
How long after you got the fish did the problem start?
Did you add anything to the tank in the 2 weeks before this started?

What is the ammonia, nitrite & nitrate of the water?
What sort of filter is on the tank?
How often and how do you clean the filter?

How often do you do water changes and how much do you change?
Do you gravel clean the substrate when you do a water change?
Do you dechlorinate the new water before adding it to the aquarium?

What did you treat the fish with and how long did you treat it for?

I've had him for like 4 months, he's had this for like 2 weeks, clean the tank/substrate weekly, water changes prob 25% once a week between cleaning days. All I added recently was some real plants. I use water conditioner, everything reads fine when I test water. I used betta fix for like a week and seems worse in the last few days. He acts fine, eats the same. I ordered general cure which just arrived today so I'm going to try that and see what happens.
