It looks like some sort of Arowana but with the less pronounced upturned mouth!
Theres the clue.

On your fish, the clues are clearly saying it's an anabantoid, so is it one of the mouthbrooding betta species? B. Pulchra?

Yes. It's pretty rare in stores though since they live on the bottom of streams.

Microctenopoma ansorgii is a small freshwater fish, known in the aquarium trade as the Ornate ctenopoma, Orange Ctenopoma, Ornate climbing perch, Pretty ctenopoma, or Rainbow ctenopoma.​
It belongs to the same genus as the Spotted Climbing Perch (Ctenopoma acutirostre)​
