@ PP - the ones you say are easy take ages to guess but the hard ones only take one shot. XD just something I've noticed....

I didn't think so... That was Red Shiners then. It's a Shiner though, I can tell by the body shape. Is it Notropis mekistocholas? Cape fear Shiner?

yes and its critcally endangered thats why they cant be in captivity
