Nope and nope!! Well... s'pose I can agree its a cyprinid! But then... that covers...... a LOT of species! Including all your barbs and minnows and tetras etc lol

Microrasbora kubotai? Its a cyprinid that looks like that. Or maybe m. Rubescens

I would agree with Paradise3, looks very much like a rasbora vulcanus, the faint red line along its side and the gold just above its stomach. Prepare your next pic Paradise3!

They are also one of the many, many fish I have planned to keep at some point in my life lol. Hence the recognition. I had to google the scientific name though as I couldn't remember that properly. Knew what the fish was by common name though
