Errr good question, I am not entirely sure what it would be included as but personality wise they are definitely more Peacock than Mbuna. Nope... def not mbuna nor is it considered a peacock but is classed alongside the peacocks as its an open water swimmer rather than rock dweller and has a diet more of insects than of algaes and greenery

Nope but much closer and they are gorgeous fish too! Was tempted to go with the N. livingstonii but chose this one..
 
Apparently a lot meaner than I realised as when I check back now... there are only two ways I can get that species to come up on google images and one of this is with its scientific name! The other is in relation to what it is and its colour.

Not quite, but much closer! Though the Nimbos seem a lot more bulky and thuggish looking. The species you are looking for is really docile and even quite shy as malawis go!

We have similar tastes Helps if it isn't a stunning fish I love the look of! And I hadn't been showing colleague a book of cichlids and chatting about what I knew of the species he pointed at lol.
