Fish Dead Why?

My peppered cory cat died today and I dont know why. I have had the tank set up for months and months, and ammonia nitrite is 0. THe only think i changed was adding 2 harlequins into the tank with some guppies a few days ago, i found both harlequins dead, and my peppered cory cat who i have had sinse the beginning, the guppies i got with the harlequins seem fine.

On the dead pepper cory cat there is what appears to be blood near the bottom of his tail.

What has occurred?

what is that? im not sure if the new fish had that they just looked dead, but the peppered just had blood lines at the bottom of his tail

Cory are very prone to bacterial infections, was the blood beneath the skin or on top as it sounds like septicemia.

you dont mention nitrate levels. i would check these straight away

it looked more like it was on the outside. what causes it?

When my angel died, she had blood streaked under her skin too near her fins.
