Fish Colours

Okay I should have read first.. but I need some help in a hurry!!!!
I was washing my yellow labs in warm water with a dog shampoo but something went wrong???
I think they are poached... should I still try to brush them or just buy tarter sauce??

Again, not laughing at the person who posted the first reference to dogs. Really not laughing at your expense but love this thread. It is a mistake I would totally make too. So worth the laugh. thank you.

Why do my fish change colour? Some of them seem black one minute then a light shade of purple the next? does this mean they are stressed? i have african cichlids and it just sems weird how one min they are one and then the next another. Sometimes they change if they are chasing or being chased!

Just curious to know why. And also with my Yellow Labs how do you go about bringing out a clean yellow colour? at the moment they are quite young but the yellow seems dirty if yo know what i mean. its like a dirty yellow with dark bits. Imagine a chimney sweep but just not as dirty lol

The intensity of yellow labs is genetic.
Some are pure yellow, while others have a measure of black speckling.
A lot of the labs I have seen at the moment do have a lot of black on them.
