I've been breeding livebearers for a number of years, and still cant get enough of these wee fish, at the mo i've got appox 60/70 guppys fry. The thing is i was thinking of breeding something different but still keeping with my guppys, also have to add i've kept most otherl ivebearers in my time.

What i am asking is for your own ideas for a new challege for myself, i've recently got 5 cory cats which i've never kept before and i really like these wee fish, i'd like to breed them as i've seen one pair looking to pair each other of.

And suggestions you'd like to add?

Cheers Joe!

You should be able to keep them alive for more than a year, and you could even dry the eggs and sell them or use them later.

With 6 fish, you have around 95% chance of having a pair, but I believe they're polygamous so you don't really need a pair...

You could also try bettas or gouramis, though I'd suggest researching them too.

Good luck with the breeding experiments. :D
