FISH ARE DYEING!

My Plattys were fine less than 10 hours ago but now half of them are belly up on the bottom of the tank! What can i do to save these fish

my only real idea would be the whole cycle thing. If they all died, that may be a common cause.

do a 50% water change and test the water. I'm guessing it' uncycled.

I did a 50% water change and added the dechorinizer first. Then I added some stuff i have to help the cycle process. Lets hope its not too late for my remaining 3 plattys

Hi,
Have you a test kit for the water? They are a real neccesity at this crucial stage. They shouldnt be considered a luxury when buying a tank, its better to factor them into the cost. To get you started you really need ammonia, nitrite and if possible PH kits or you wont know how safe your tank is for the fish or how the cycling process is going.
I can guarantee you your fish would prefer a test kit to that super cool sunken ship!
