As long as they aren't attacking eachother I'd give them up to 4 days. Its not possible that she released her eggs and they ate them is it? If not you should be fine to leave them.

If she looks a lot thinner then they may have already spawned and ate the eggs so you'll need to re-condition obviously

no she is still fat with eggs.

had to pull the female as nothing was happening, she is now in a recovery tank getting better i'm going to clean the tank out and start again with another pair

Sorry to hear it didn't work out

I tried for 6 months with lots of different combinations of pairs till I started getting my bettas to spawn after my accidental one. Good luck with your next attempt
