Ahh! Something new learned! :)

Never had to look into that, my tanks have always been clear. Well, that's not really true, there was a time where I was using a different store brand dechlorinator; I had to stop using it, because after each time I used it during the weekly water change there was a light milky cloudiness to the tank for the following 24 hours or so!

Biiiiiig disaster today!

I was walking in my living room and stepped in a pretty sizable puddle....PANIC!

I quickly unplug all my filters lights heaters, etc. the upper two tanks are bone dry and I notice my bottom 10 gallon is all wet around the lower trim...

So I quickly move all my girls from that tank to the other 10 gallon which is my fry tank and empty it to see where the leak is coming from

While I was letting the tank dry I decided to turn back on the filters and heaters for my other two tanks and guess what happened....yup, the filter box on my fry tank is actually where the darn leak was coming from and it dripped to the lower shelf making it look like the bottom tank had a leak. Had I not panicked and jumped the gun this would have been as simple as unplugging 1 stupid filter, but nooooo I assumed the worst and spent a good part of the day emptying a perfectly sealed tank...

Boy do I feel dumb!

Yes that's what I said. I was just happy I had a place to put them right away. I'm waiting till tomorrow to move them back again.
