Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting pictures, so no clue if I am doing this right.

Where to start...

well this is my 35 gallon setup, I have a few other tanks, some bigger, but this is the one in my bedroom and my favorite.

As for fish, you cant really so to many in the pics, but I have:

4 Tiger barbs
6 Golden Barbs
6 Cherry Barbs
1 Red tailed Shark
1 Pleco (very small, hasnt grown in over a year, eats tons though)

I am running 2 hob filters both rated for 50 gallons, along with an undergravel filter.

As for the peace of drfit wood, It has been in my tank for 1week now its aprox 3.5 feet long. It is still trying to float up, but when it finally does sink (how lnog will this take?) I plan on putting it going from corner to corner in my tank, diagonally. So in the meantime things are kind of just sitting around.

Anyhow, let me know what you guys think, I will be upadting this thread with close ups of all my fish, along with my other tanks. But for now this is my first pic!

Not a pleco expert so I can't really help you out

Tank looks pretty good though :)

I apologize for the crappy pictures. I have no idea how to use a digital camera correctly, and then I resized and optimized the images in photoshop, and I am not great at that either, explaining the poor pics.

HA! I wouldn't apologize, mine look way worse. My fish move to fast so I get a lot of blurrs

Yea, this is one of my first times using a digital camera, and my first time taking fish pictures. My fish are so much nicer then in the pics, but you can never get a good shot of them. This is my red tailed shark, is he new and very shy so its impossible to get a good picture, but hear it is anyhow:

Oh and I can even get a clear picture of my cherry barbs, they are all very bright red, but the things don't stop moving.

very nice tank (I love barbs) and nice pics too no reason to apologize maybe a bit dark but that just looks like a tank lighing problem to me. Great pics can't wait to see more.

NIce tank pics there ccg! Cool looking plec.

Maybe if you get a better pic someone can help you ID him. I disagree with Blue Lobster though, cause to me he looks totally different to the common plec. But wait for some more replies.

Yeah, sorry Bule Lobster but I disagree as well.

I am pretty sure you have a Sailfin Pleco, not a Common.

here is pic of another one....

I'll try and get some pics with better ligthing, but the thing is, the room and tank are both well lit. But there are like a million different lighting options on this digital camera, and options if its a close up as well etc. So... I have no idea why they are coming out dark.

Anyhow, I'll try and get better pictures of my plec because I would like to ID him. I have had him for like a year, he was very tiny when I got him and he has hardly grown since. He was in a 10gal at the LFS, so maybe he growth was stunted, who knows.

Thanks for the replies everyone..
