so although you cant see them great...will have to fix my camera settings tonight
there are 6 neon tetras
1 flying fox siamese
1 platty i think it was called
4 male guppys
and 1 random snail

Did you cycle your tank first?
 
Yes, it's likely a platy. Tank looks nice.

yeah its been cycled...all stats holding stable. the neons had already been in there for the last 2 weeks before adding...  
 
could i ask why with the siamese? as everything i read first said they should get along alright in the tank?

That looks like a Siamese Algae Eater, don't think it's a flying fox. Flying fox get rather large. I don't know much about the SAE, though.
 
EDIT: Did a quick search and the SAE needs to be in a shoal.

Just on behavious I'm starting to think algee eater as it's hooked on the plants just keeps climbing all over the,....and as you may be able to see my plans are falling apart

Yeah that's most likely a Siamese algae eater. A flying fox would have a gold band on the top of the black one.

Got some new plants and everyone seems much happier
