First Scaping Attempt

Was a bargainous £3 for a decent size portion so snapped it up on eBay

I too can't wait to get it in there along with my attempt at a carpet, its a little sparsely spread over the mesh, just hope it doesn't look a bit silly in there

The moss will grow soon enough and by the looks of it, you will have a lovely lush carpet

Its definitely not but it could be a whole lot dearer without cutting a few corners and DIY-ing where it allows

Here are some pictures of that piece of bogwood. I have put it next to a 30cm ruler for size comparison. It was in a tank for nearly a year and will not float. I do not want to hijack your thread so let me know if you want me to delete them for you

I like to see people doing a bit of the DIY side of things and it working, makes it all worth while when you see someone spending 10x's the amount and only getting the same results .

Indeed it does, I checked my Crypts earlier and I swear one was pearling That is a long constant stream of small bubbles isn't it?

While we're waiting for updates, here's some pictures now that the waters cleared up.

Have to excuse the poop on the sand (gouramis LOVE to poop ) and the scratched glass, previous owner must of wire brushed it clean at some point, its terrible!

Thanks mate, should be sorted next week some time just hope this lot of vallis grows or I'll have to start clipping my stargrass in the Rio and transfering it over to this one
