Most fish should be able to tolerate 20ppm quite easily, but any corals (including the one you have there on your rock) are much more sensitive and I would be looking to get it down. You can only improve the situation by doing a few small water changes. Fingers crossed the nitrate is just a result of the cycling process and shouldn't get that high when the system is up and running properly.plectastic said:I know but I'm gonna wait till I get the filter and nitrate reducing stuff in before I do a WC.
