Whats with the tongue sticking out? I offered you tanks, you claim that you don't have money to buy more and that they are not i nthe best sized tanks and I offer them to you and i get " :p ". Nevermind then, let people stay worried, mad and upset at you at you...

I'll just use them for something else...

thats not what I meant. lol I just like the tongue...not as an insult!

sorry :flowers:

If your bettas aren't in very good tanks right now, it's very cheap and easy to get them into better conditions..
You can find ways to better house them in your own kitchen.. :) If you have old tupperware that exceeds a gallon, even that will work. you can put a heater in them, as well as gravel and plants, and you can make a little lid for them for practically nothing.
If you don't have tupperware, Walmart and Petsmart sells 1+ gallons for 5 dollars.. :)
I know your bettas would really appreciate the upgrade.

Wow, those guys kinda bit your head off hu? Well, I've seen those bowls at walmart and other stores, and I'm pretty sure they hold a gallon right? If so, that's just about right for a beta. I really like his color btw! I had one like that many years ago but his fins weren't quite as long. And for all the peopl buggin you about the size, GIVE HER A BRAKE! It may look small from the side but even then, that was 3 years ago!

Without knowing the entire history please don't jump in like that. Also, that tank is about 1/4 of a gallon, not a gallon trust me I know. People are offering good advice. The advice that Dibari has offered is what many have been saying for a long time, just not as well written.

3 years ago may be a long time ago, but don't you still have some things that you had that long ago? I know I do. I have some old tanks sittign around in storage that I never use. Also, anyone can say that they are 3 years ago, even with time stamps on pictures, the camera can be set to any date you want it to be.

Peopel are looking out for FBTGirl and her fish, that's all. People keep jumping on people for jumping on FBTGirl, I don't see the logic i nthis. Don't you care that the best possible is what the fish gets? I offered soem tnaks to help her out. At least what I call tanks for bettas. I'm not a huge fan of the fish, but I still care that proper care is taken for them.

Again, please don't jump in without knowing the entire history, if you do, then I'm sorry for thinking you don't.

FBTGirl, again I will see if I can find anything to help you out, and this way people can't say anything as I would know that you had the right size for them. In fact most of them are tupperware containers. It's what I always kept my bettas in as I found them a million times better for the fish than the tanks that companies make a lot of money off of. I'll see if I still have them at my house, or if my parents did some spring cleaning on my old "junk".

I agree, this is a really good idea, its very affordable for housing many bettas and many people do this.

Well that's sort of mean, I bet if you didn't know the true requirements of a betta you'd get one and put it in that tank, wouldn't you? She didn't know. That's all..

Who is this directed towards me? Because I'm finding that I'm trying to help her out. I don't know what you're reading here... I'm starting to remember why I stay away form betta sections of forums and individual betta forums...

Edit: Besides, I don't get fish without knowing their requirements through research. Its a pet peev I have. As for the betta, its then, she claims to keep in similar now, I'm trying to help her out. :good:

She may not have known then but she does now and she still keeps her bettas in, and I quote, "Containers about 4 times the size of the cups in the petstores" thats what like a 1/2 gallon?

Keep it nice Jaded, lets help not hurt. Maybe you can help me find some things around to help her out? Just in case I don't have some, maybe you have some old tupperwares laying around? This way people don't think you're a blood thirsty well... you fill in the blank... lol.
