What are you upto? having any fireworks? going to any parties?

I love fireworks, only having a small display this year though :(

Heres my finale from a few years back:

cant wait a few years back my dad mistakenly put a massive multi shot firework upside down it was certainly eventful

Wooo that's a lorra lorra fireworks (not sure why I've broken into Cilla mode LOL)

Nothing planned yet - but I'm off to Fright Night at Legoland with daughter and grandkids tomorrow and Saturday - firework display both nights. It'll probably rain though...

used to love bonfire night
always remember when i was about
seven the milk bottle fell over in the yard
and the rocket chased my auntie around the yard
before it bounced off the the outhouse door
and skipped over the wall  also the Catherine
wheel that was pinned to the yard door only to come
off and disappear up the ally never to be seen again
and bangers were a lot stronger then you could light
it put it in a dustbin and it would blow the lid 20ft
in the air now there just a fizz pop any one remember
mighty atom bangers :hyper: proper bangers

alright stranger? :)

i wonder what it would of
been like if Mr fawkes had
got away with committing
his devilish plan to blow
up the houses of parliament
and what would been like today

going to a party on saturday there is going to be fireworks there and on sunday going out with mates and messing with fireworks

we never have fireworks, as the pets don't like them (neither do next door's horses). however, i do have some potassium nitrate from my EI fertz, i could experiment with that. of course with parental supervision. ;)

LOL yeah I'm fine, thanks! Long time no see eh?

Oh and the fireworks at Legoland were cancelled because there was a major power cut for hours on end...no rides...no food...no shops open...no fireworks...NOTHING! By the time the power was reinstated and the rides given safety checks, we were so fed up and hungry that we only had the stamina to queue for a couple of rides then gave up. Only a third of rides were resumed, anyway, and still no food available...what a shambles!

My local park just called off the yearly free fireworks, apparently, doing this saves them £35,000.
This year, we'll probably have to go to the Battersea Park fireworks, its not free, but they honestly do one of the best firework displays in the uk! :shout: :good:

Local pub friday for me. A friends 18th party then hitting the town on saturday :good:

I like this time of year.

James.
