Finally Got My Dwarf Puffers!

That looks to be for external parasites. You want something for internal. Here a few suggestions.
Jungle Labs Parasite Clear or Wormer Plus

If their bellies are badly sunken in not long after they've eaten then it's a good sign they have internal parasites.

sadly I didn't get the wormer in time to save that liitle guy 3 years ago :(

thanks for the replies.:)

Well since i fed them this moring and now they seem to look fine. alittle skinny but not as bad.

Should i still get d-wormer anyway???

Try and feed them up slowly. If they still remain skinny then maybe look at getting them treated. I use Wormer Plus from Plymouth Discus to great effect. Only needed to use it once when I first got them and then they were fine :D

My puffer ignored the little bit of mysis shrimp that I mixed in with the bloodworms for about 5 meals before he even nibbled. And I didn't expect him to eat it. It was put in mainly to get him to make the connection between the smell of it and the activity of eating. You might need a little patience there. :)

On the sunken belly question I have to agree with the other members who pointed towards internal parasites. But I either never had those or the quarantine time took care of them (lucky me – knock on wood) so I have no suggestions here. But it looks like you got lots of excellent advice on that end already. Sorry i havent replied for a while guys!

Anyway, the puffers are doing fine. i didnt get any d-worming stuff. i think they were just skinny cause the LFS was feeding them flakes.
They are getting little bellies finally!! :D
