My tank is planted, 10 gal with 2 platies, AFD, Betta and a snail. I noticed today that it appears that my betta has fin rot. The parameters are okay, everything is in range except im having ammonia issues with it spiking to 1.0. as this is my first tank i did a fish in cycle before knowing much about anything so dont be too hard on me. Regardless i noticed today that my bettas fins looked a little tattered. I am wondering the best treatments for my betta with the current tank situation. I have just done a 50% WC. I have a quarantine tank that I can use for him if needed

Both frogs and snails are sensitive to fish medication; I would not add any medication to the tank. Water chnages, lots of them, are the only option with those tank mates.

It could be damage to the tail. I've experienced an ADF mistaking a betta for food, and platies could also decide his fins look tasty.
