I think my tetras in my 60L tank have fin rot. I noticed the other week that the tips of their fins were a cloudy white colour. All of them have this cloudy white colour on their fins only that wasn't there before. One of the tetras also has clamped fins. I also have guppies in there and their fins are looking ragged.
I've been treating with the required dose of Myxazin for 5 days now (today is day 5) and I see no improvement. All their fins are still cloud white and in fact one looks worse today.
Should it be cleared up by now or does it take a while after treatment to see improvement? Should I continue with the Myxazin a bit longer and is it safe to do so?
Thanks for any advice. I'm really getting annoyed lately as to of my tanks have problemms that won't go away and it's all since I bought fish from Pets at Home. My tanks have been up and running years now with no major issues like this.
Sorry I haven't got water stats as my kit is well out of date now and since the tanks have been running for years I haven't been testing like I did at first. I know I need to get another kit really and will do,
Any help with this fin rot would be much appreciated.
