How many Bumblebee Gobies could I have with 1 F8 Puffer with an Eheim Aquaball 2212??

Cheers

Matt

Can you use any freshwater aquatic plants in a BW set-up as long as the y are acclimatised??

if i recall proper HOB arent available in the UK....
you'd have ot order it from the US and use the adapter plug as well, so your only choices are internals

I don't think I am going to use a HOB filter. Does the Eheim Aquaball 2212 have a water flow adjuster, and is it suitable for use in brackish water?

Are there any brackish suckerfish??

I vote Aqua Clear. I have an AC70 on my 20 gal and it takes GOOD care of it.

I suppose the fluval can be 'okay' depending on your standards, if you want crystal clear water, not just clean water, then this is not what you want, go for the AC instead

If you are getting dwarf puffers, they are not brackish fish but completely freshwater. They are the only species that is completely freshwater. Filter wise, I have been very happy with my Fluval though it is a pain to get into to change out the filter media that needs it.

Incorrect. They are not the only species that are freshwater at all. There are more species of freshwater puffers available in the hobby than brackish or saltwater.

Have a read of the pinned topic at the top of the oddball forum on puffers.

I am planning on keeping 1 Figure 8 Puffer and 4? Bumblebee Gobies in a BW set-up. Also if I got an Aquaclear (which I have never heard of before until now) what model should I be getting for a 20G)?

Also how expensive would the Aquaclear 30 be in the UK?

I would imagine it would be cheap, mine was only like 50 USD and it's and AC70.

Yeh but things are a lot cheaper in the US than in the UK.

My DP got sucked into my filter, and the other is MIA for 3 days now.
I am confident that the first got sucked up and the other was following just behind and he did as well. the 2nd would have been the bigger of the 2.
has anyone else experienced this problem and what is advice for an easy fix. I am thinking that a piece of foam around the inlet of the HOB filter will do the trick. thoughts? I am not trying to threadjack this but i feel that it is worth being noted as they are curious little fish..

i have a UGF to a powerhead, and that is directed to another powerhead that is connected to the filtration system in the back of the tank.

Sure i know you might think its over currented, but, my two DP's are fine, they occasionaly chase bubbles, but its still so serene ;)
