Alright, so on Tuesday, I fed my fish two cubes of bloodworms, and an algae water. I'm guessing that the bloodworms got much downwards by the filters current, then got caught at the spot where water gets sucked into the filter. I'm assuming my bala went for the bloodworms, knocking down the filter piece too. So, basically I have a tube sticking in the water where any fish could get into. (At least a 1.5" and under fish)

Two did! One female swordtail and one albino cory. I made my mom clean the filter's pieces, being too afraid of seeing the dead body caught inside. ):

So my stock :

29gallon

-3 cories
-1 bala
-3 black skirt tetras
-2 swordtails (M/F)
-2 weather loaches (M/M)
-2 African dwarf frogs (M/F)
-1 honey gourami

yeah, so. Should I get another female swordtail and another cory?

:rip: :rip: I was so sad. ):
(By the way, I do understand I'm overstocked. I'm getting a new tank in a few weeks! :) 18 days, I think.)

did you stick the filter back together?

of course, it worked fine afterwards.
before, it was clogged.
That's how I noticed. The current of the water going out of the filter cut down.

Yes, I know.
After I get the larger tank, I am returning him.

Posssible If I could return the bala for the other two?

lmao, alright.
:) :rip:
I really liked that one cory. ): active active swimmer.

Yes, pretty sure you read my previous topics Loony! :yahoo:

So, I'm still planning the 29g, and the 55g.
In my swordtail's personality. they tend to stay in the middle range/top. So I'm gonna try them with a crayfish in a 29g; though I am prepared and I know there might be incident's. Swordtail's are fast, too! :)

55g, still deciding. With a few gouramis, a shoal of black skirt tetras/cories, MAYBE four loaches, and then a few african dwarf frogs.
:) I dont know about peacock eel's yet, still deciding. I still got two whole weeks, + cycling time to finish up my stock! :D

Sorry to hear about your filter problems.

I always try to run two of everything, builds in some redundancy in case you have a hardware failure like this.

I've had the same happen, but luckily noticed the open pipe before any fish got stuck. Probably lost a few cherrys but i've hundreds of them so not a issue!
