I recently picked up three Figure 8's. I soon realized that they need a larger tank than the 10 gallon I currently have them in. I plan on relocating them to the 20 gallon once it cycles and switching it from FW to brackish. Is adding a little marine salt daily the correct way to do this? What is the correct SG for BW? Also, would there be any compatible BW fish that I may be able to add to my new tank? Sorry for the questions which are probably answered elsewhere on this site, but I want this move to have as little stress on the fish as possible.

you could add some gobys or scats. i think its 5 tablespoons per gallon for brackish

Scat will grow to large for a 20g but a small species of Gobie like a Bumblebee Gobie would be fine.

You need to go buy a salinity tester.....they're not very expensive. Then you just add salt until it's where you want it. The right salinity for figure 8's is anywhere from 1.005-1.010.....have fun!
