ok well im a beginner, however this is my second tank.

10ish neon tetras
6 Rosies
6 Tigers (im not exactly sure what they are, i cant remember, but they dont look like barbs, they're constantly laping the tank)
2 White Angel fish
1 bristle nose catfish

i am aware angel fish can cause alot of problems in a tank such as things biting them them biting things etc

the angels are too small to eat the neons, they dont even bite at them or chase them, the neons arnt even threatened by them, they dont even school all that much, they swim around the angels fearless. the current size of the angels wouldn't allow them to eat the neons, however in afew years it could pose a problem, however the neons are significantly older then the angels, therefor by the time my angels are old enough to eat the neons im guessing they'll be dead.

i used to have pillids but i removed them when putting in the angels and placed them into a different tank, however they left 3 pillid babys which have hidden inside a rock, none of the fish in the tank have caught them, so i think its safe to say that my angels arnt eating neons in a hurry.

one of my angel fishes is about the size of an australian 50 cent coin, and the other is about the size of a 20

the larger angel fish has been bullying the other angel from time to time, but they've seemed to settle down now.

2/6 of my "tigers" are almost missing there tail fins completely, these fish are very active and the angels could never possibly catch them, i think they might be attacking each other.

i have a full Ph kit and algae wafers for the cat fish

my tank is a pretty respectably large size, im aware of how big the angels get and the catfish, its an aqua one tank and filter setup, i've consulted my aquarium about how many fish i can have and supposedly im well under the limit.

im abit worried about the angels, and i've been reading a sera brochure and im quite interested in fighting fish, it read that they're tolerant of all other fish except for themselves aslong as one of the other males has a female or something. but im worried, would the angel fish bite the wavey ghost-like tails? could i have these fish in my tank?

i'd advise against it.

barbs love to pickon things with flowing fins.

and betas also do the same.

in my opinion i'd say don't do it.

yep, no betta for that tank.

out of curiousity, what is a "pillid"? i've never heard that term before.

my apologies, i meant "platys" sorry. im not good with names. i usually refer to them as "breeders" becase when i had them in my old tank, and they just kept on breeding like crazy and they like eat they're babies, its hell grose.

i'd like to point out that your neons have a lifespan, i believe, of 5-10 years if kept properly, so there is every chance of the angels being big enough to eat them before they die naturally. Also angels don't have to be very big to decide to go after neons. there is another thread around here somewhere where someone's angel ate a neon that was too big to fit in its mouth, it just ate the tetra bite by bite.

you really need to identify those "tiger" fish.

as for a betta, no, it should not be in that tank. Bettas do not compete well with faster fish (neons and the tigers) for food, also these same fish tend to be nippy and will destroy the bettas (and possibly your angels) fins, stressing them and causing various diseases and/or death. your angels and bettas will probably not like one another, and you will find you have dead fish on your hands.
