Ok....you didn't have time to ask, so you want us to do it for you.And you want us to do it without so much as a helpful hint as to where your Petco might be located.Hold on while I gaze into the magic crystal

please dont support petco. petcos interests arent exactly in the animals there... there are many other pet shops that carry female bettas.
they have female bettas at wal-mart. just ask when they get thier shipments of fish in and go that day and most likely they will have 2 or 3.

ok in petco, there was a lil lawsuit thing where they got in trouble for killing baby animals born there, because of this they will only keep one sex of an animal so that they canot breed there. fish are different, they should have both but will more likely have males than females as males are more commonly purchases by sumone looking for a pet not a hobby.

ok jac blades i know u hate petco with a firey passion but not all r bad. alot of people who own them dont care for the animals just for the money, u r right but not all r like that, now baby animals dont userally happen there because they are all the same gender userally ( this does not include fish ) i dont go there myself very often but they do gotta nice selesction of fish.

of course not all of them are bad...but you dont hear nearly as much bad stuff about other pet store chains.
im always hearing about lawsuits against petco on the news...

i must commend my petco though-i went in the other day (i always go in and chck out the fish and their conditions) and they actually had larger cups for the bettas. they werent as big as walmart cups but they werent the normal 6 ounce ones either. i told the manager i was happy about that and i bought one. on that same trip, i only saw 2 dead fish floating in the tanks as opposed to 200 (which is usually what i see)
im still not taking the petco...where the pets die bumper sticker off of my car though...
maybe someday when if they ever improve more...
i dont know why people shop there anyways-they are the most expensive pet store there is...

My petco has tons of fish in a 65 gallon tank for feeder fish, and there are so many dead fish in the filter and bottom of the tank it's ridiculous.

well the petco is near serramonte shopping mall.i live in san fransico.i know there lots of fish stores in sf.but they dont look clean

well u i guess ur right, weather their feeders or not, they are alive and should be treated that way even thogh their fates are seal

my petco is alright, the fish seem ok and the betta cups are lardger than 6 ounces :) but the feeders are awful there to, i guess to them feeders dont matter as much as the fish going out as pets.

and yes bones 6 thousond sum odd dollars is a big lawsuit, i think they need a couple mor thogh so that they are absolutely perfect  if a couple work, then how bout a couple more :D
