I have two Bristlenoses and what I think is a common plec. The all seem very fond of Hikari algae wafers and spend a lot of time suckong on bogwood. I've tried cucumber, with moderate success, and tomato, again, with moderate success. My mother used to feed her plec peas but I have yet to try that one. May try the carrot next.
