could i feed my fish little pieces of cearel such as a hard piece of lucky charms or a piece of cookie crisp just as a treat say once a week im just wondering so please dont be mean about it

I wouldn't recommend either of those as a treat. You could buy bloodworms or daphinia to feed them weekly. Or you could make egg yoke for them (hard boil an egg, cool it, separate the yellow egg yoke. Add the egg yoke into a cup of tank water, break it up into tiny bits. I usually drop a few teaspoons into the tank... generally I prefer to do this before a tank cleaning to be sure any waste is cleaned up afterwards).
