Hi!
I just got two tiny feather fin catfish yesterday and I was hoping someone could give me some advice on feeding them - what to feed, how often etc. They are both about 1 inch. I have a small gold nugget pleco in the tank too - he's about 2 inches.
Will the synos eat the vegetables I give my pleco? I have a bit of trouble feeding algae wafers as my other fish (particularly one gourami) are quite greedy and eat them first - I do put them in occasionally hoping that the pleco will eat them but as yet I have never seen him eat wafers. So i'm not sure about feeding the synos on wafers either.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks for your help!

My guys (whom are all enormous beasties now) are fed on catfish pellets (they prefer the JMC make but I suspect any will do), algae wafers, occasional bloodworm and anything that catches their fancy. I've seen them eat flake food before now. Since mine live with the Malawis there's a fair variety of food going in there.

mine eats regular flake, sinking cichlid crumbles, and will some times nibble a freeze dried krill.he wont touch any brine shrimp though.hes weird.

thankyou guys for your advice.
i will try catfish pellets. i managed to get them eating algae wafers yesterday for the first time which is good but i still have this problematic gourami who tries to eat them all himself. i think feeding frozen and live foods sometimes might be an answer too as then i can feed all my fish on them and maybe there will be less of a fight over it! (i have already been feeding my other fish live food but only occasionally)
i guess i will need to do some experimentation. thanks again.
