For the past two mornings we have noiced one of our feather fins has large areas of white skin esp on his underbelly, but after a few hours hs back to normal colours.
I cant fnd anything that seems to exlain it as it doenst look right ,some patches are very white others are blotchy its not a all over colour change but a lare amount of his body ,as Ive said after a few hours hes bak to normal.
Whatsworrying us is we have another one inthe tank and hes not showing the same symtoms.

Just need to know if anyone else has had this happen or any advise.

Ive tried to get a pic but non show it correctly

Any advise would help.

hmm seems it culdbe diet related not a infection.

Tried some peas so wll see what happens

I have 2 in my tank and have the same thing. One of them gets white marks on it's underbelly. I've never seen it distressed in any way or not feeding. I have noticed it only appears when they chase each other round the tank so i put it down to them scaping themselves on the bogwwod or other surface.

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
