there are a lot of different tetra's out there, what is everyone's favorite kind of tetra ?

love them theres so many im always changing my mind lol! i just like the kind of tight shoaling behaviour of the rummy noses which is what attracted me to them

I like the old faithful neons, mine are the largest and brightest neons i have ever seen! beauty to have in my tank!

Why does every one like rummy tetra? I can't find them any where !

Right now my fave is the red eye tetras. There active around the tank and swimm with my other fish.

I have neons and there great looking and they go well with a slow moving thank

I also have black skirts and there ok. Kind of agressive around feeding time but don't harm anyone.

Really?!

I though every LFS ever opened sold rummy noses! Been a standard in the hobby for longer than I've been alive! I don't see the attraction of them myself; far too grey

Maybe but for the most part I go to petsmart and petco for my fish because all the local fish stores hike up there prices.soo yeah that could be why ? I think I saw some at petco once but they where the false once so I passed.

I thought the same thing with gray fish but the red eyes are some of coolest fish I have ever got

gold tetra - Hemigrammus rodwayi
