100% agreed! :good:

I ahd bought a beautifull pleco( cost me 8 dollars) and it dissappeared. About a year later I found somthing stuck in a shell. It was the pleco and it sat in that shell for a year and was stuck, but still alive!!!! I took a hammer and chipped away at the shell but unforutanly it didnt make it. I still cant belive that it was in there for a year!!!!!!! I forgot all about that fish untill I saw it and was wondering what a fish was doing in there and didnt even know what it was at the time until my memory was jogged!!!!!!! think it was a bristleose.

I had a laugh at my Golden Apple Snail yesterday, it was trying to cross between to pieces of rock that were just a little bit too far apart and fell down between them, I watched him for a few minutes to see if he could get out, he couldn't he was well and truly stuck, so with a grin on my face I picked the silly snail out of his dilema and set him on his way. Then I moved the rocks even further apart so that he could'nt get stuck again.

He wasn't injured or stressed and it was funny! Watching something die isn't funny, but sometimes creatures do do silly things and it can make you grin and then you solve the problem

One of my golden barbs (the biggest, fattest one of course!) got itself stuck in a castle I had in my tank a few months ago. I only found him when I went into my dining room to put something away and there he was, wriggling like mad with his tail sticking through one way and his head sticking through the other.
At first I panicked, because I'd never had this sort of thing happen before.
I managed to help him out luckily, but he looked in a bad way - he'd lost some scales either side of his body, was bleeding and had lost alot of his lovely golden colour.
A couple of weeks later, though, you'd never had known he'd been in an accident. I treated the tank with the appropriate medication, and lo and behold he has made a full recovery. The only evidence is a slight mark on one of his sides, but that's it.
Needless to say he is now back in full fettle, eating anything and everything that I care to put in the tank.
And of course the castle went straight in the bin after that.
I did think "silly fish" when I'd got him out, but was so relieved when he started to show signs of recovery.

My parrot fish did same - decided to venture into plec cave and went out the "side window" and - got stuck... Thankfully I was home - he was really struggling - I panicking pulled him back by the tail and poked his nose and freed him. I didnt find it funny until I noticed the totally embarassed look on his face later and it was clear despite his ordeal that he was ok. Never seen a fish look embarassed before  - have now removed offending cave!

Another mad thing happened with my banjo cat. I accidently gravel vac'd him, threw him outside on the grass and noticed few mins later with next water change.. Fish not moving so ran back in, threw in tank and kind of swum him backwards and forwards so the water went through his gills... within 20 secs he swum away - that was about 6 months ago and he's absolutly fine. Guess they pretty resilient and needless to say I concentrate more now - sorry cat fish...
