Fancy Mice!

She shouldnt. Mice give birth at that age at our lfs all the time. I have never heard of one dyeing in labor. Besides, the babies are way too tiny for her to die in labour.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about any dying. I always separated my babies into male and female cages when they were hoppers. Females stayed in with mom, males went off to their own cage. However, I must have waited a little too long with one batch because one of the babies got pregnant from her brother

She was SO tiny...but she lived and all of her babies were healthy. I just made sure to separate them a lot earlier

Oh, and if the male that got them was dark brown like the one in your first pic...it's safe to say most, if not all, of the babies will be the dark brown. The common, dark brown color is VERY dominant!

Do mice have hair? Or fur.. I am contemplating if I will be allergic to them XD

Such short hair i should'nt imagine it would bother you!....

they're such fun.. make sure you get them very young and off a breeder who would have handled babies....
ill have some possibly in 5-6 days.. but they wont be ready too go for a few months...

Those mice are so cute! I have heard about fancy mice. I have been contemplating the notion of having a few of them as pets.

OHHH you should... but if you do, your best getting from a breeder who handles regularily or ore than likely be a biter

Fancy mice are really cute  I had four about 10-15 years ago. I still remember they're names. Sugar (gray n white), Al (albino), cocoa (chocolate brown) and chip ( gray with one tiny white spot on her head. reminded me of something that had a chip broken off of it...hence the name LOL!)

Good luck w/your mice. please keep us updated!
