My trio of fancy guppies had their first lot of fry today, I managed to rescue 6 of the fry and isolate them into an 8 gal fry tank. I suspect they may have eaten the rest as I could only find 6 hiding in the plants of the community tank. I doubt my khuli loach would have eaten any of them but I suppose its a possibility?

Anyway onto the picture bit, which is the real reason I posted :good:

This my main community tank, the trio of halbfiligran moscow guppies pictured share with 5 khuli loach and the best time to try and attempt photo taking is when they're all busy eating!

The male who really does not like having his photo taken:

Another group shot, I love the khuli loach:

Finally here are the remaining fry that were rescued from the main tank this morning, they have a bare bottomed 8 gal tank with some duckweed floating on the surface:

I'm pleased that at least 6 managed to survive and they are feeding well, I've also since seen one or two hiding in the plants of the main community tank that also seem to be doing good. It's great to have guppies and fry again!

hi would you like to join the friday fryday club basically all you do is put up progress pics of your fry every friday chat about fry and get any info you need or want and generally have a laugh

fantastic pics of the fry and setup looks great

Thanks, that sounds good, how do I go about joining this fryday club?

How do you get such good pics of the fry? My fry never even show up, they're so teeny!

(Also, what kind of fish are those longer ones? I've never seen them before.)

EDIT:
OK, I skipped over one thing, so are they all khuli loaches? They look really interesting.

Wow! How do you get great pics...Mine keep moving too much and I just get blurs.
Love the Loaches! :good:

Also how do you join that fryday club?

The topic's in tropical discussion. You just ask mixmaster jay or whoever owns it if you can join, and they'll give you a #, and you put it in your sig. :good:
P.S. What are those plants at the top of your fry tank? I always get them when I buy fish from my LFS.

Thank you

The plants are duckweed (he did say above the picture  )

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback :good:

I'll keep updating pic's of how the fry are doing, but they are really hard photograph because they are so fast. I think I got lucky with those last pic's but they seem to be wise to me and my camera now lol, who says fish are forgetful? =P
